Xiaomi's Redmi K30 is the successor to last year's Redmi K20.
Xiaomi Redmi K30 smartphone is an IPS LCD screen that's almost 6.67-inches, but its large size doesn't make it special, this display has a 120 Hertz refresh rate double that of a typical smartphone, the high refresh rate means you have smoother looking UI elements and more smooth gameplay.
And at the top, you'll notice the punch hole cut out for the Dual Selfie Cameras (20MP + 2MP). Since the display isn't an AMOLED, the fingerprint sensor isn't under the display like on the K 20 but the fingerprint sensor is mounted side of the phone and it doubles as the power key, is lightning fast to wake up and unlock the device.
Since there is an LCD display in this smartphone, storage here is expandable through the Hybrid SIM slot. As we talk about Xiaomi Redmi K30, this smartphone comes in three different variants of 64GB & 128GB & 256 internal storage.
Xiaomi Redmi K30 is running on a Snapdragon 730G chipset one of the best you can get on a mid-range smartphone & performance is great here especially for gaming. We did find that, for now, it's not so easy to find games that actually take advantage of the high refresh rate screen but regardless everything runs smoothly compared to the previous model though it isn't a huge upgrade of Redmi K20, had a Snapdragon 730 chipsets and the only difference between the two was a higher clock speed in the new chipsets GPU so there is a small improvement in graphics benchmarks but nothing major.
About the battery life of Xiaomi Redmi K30, battery capacity is 4500 mAh, which is 500 more than the previous model battery life is comparable though the Redmi K30s. As far as charging goes the Redmi K30 comes with a 27-watt fast charger in the box which is able to take the phone from 0 to 56% in half an hour.
Now moving on to the cameras, there is the same camera setup as the Redmi Note 8 Pro a 64 MP + 8 MP (ultra wide) + 2 MP (macro) + 2MP (depth sensor), the main camera saves 16 MP photos and in daylight quality is excellent there's plenty(बहुत सारे) of detail great contrast in wide dynamic range. You can shoot in the full 64-megapixel resolution and these photos have impressive detail.
Redmi K30 has the same dual selfie camera as the K 20 just that here is not on a pop-up module this setup includes a 20MP shooter and a 2MP depth sensor, the selfies are very good there's enough detail the colors are nice and the contrast is excellent, the portrait selfies are better than what we got on previous Xiaomi phones including the K 20 subject separation still isn't perfect though now on to video recording the Redmi K30 make this captures video at up to 4k at 30fps with this main camera and these are good with excellent resolve detail good contrast indecently wide dynamic range with the ultra-wide camera, you can only shoot in 1080p but besides the resolution, the quality is comparable to the main cameras.
Xiaomi Redmi K30, you get a beautiful looking build, great battery life, and fast charging solid cameras and a competitive chipset all for an affordable price but I would say that both the biggest positive and some I say negative of this phone is this display this LCD is bright it looks great and it's got a 120-hertz refresh rate, there's an ugly hole punch up at the top so might even call this a downgrade from last year's K 20 which had a module as asbestos AMOLED but even taking all of that into account you really can't go wrong with the Redmi K30 it's overall a great package.
